Office Administrator (Part time, M-F 9am-2pm)

Being an Office Administrator at BTU Analytics requires a highly proactive nature in order to anticipate challenges within the office and plan ways to mitigate them in advance. Those challenges may come in the form or office supply procurement, invoicing, collections of overdue AR, managing and paying AP, answering and directing phone calls, taking deliveries, arranging in-office meals, ensuring a clean and organized office environment, posting reports to BTU’s website, setting up BTU clients with access to services, creating custom maps, setting up and sending bi-weekly Energy Market Commentary emails, new-hire on boarding and various other duties.
The Office Administrator will typically be called upon to assist in a variety of situations. The knowledge base of our team grows from collaboration and shared experience, so regular, reliable attendance, a proactive nature and willingness to learn from others is a must. The flexibility of our team is a key differentiator for BTU Analytics, so effective professional communication and maintaining healthy working relationships with co-workers as individual and team priorities shift is essential. The right candidate will be comfortable with customer service in addition to all the technical and interpersonal skills necessary to manage daily office operations.

- Basic accounting, AP and AR knowledge
- Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- 1+ years’ experience in executive assistant, AP, AR, office administrator, reception or other similar professional setting
